Colombia is also the fourth producer of oil in Latin America with a very competitive exploration and production model. It is predicted that the sector will keep on growing in the upcoming years.

Among the main commercial sectors of the country you can find flowers, bananas, cocoa, sugar and cotton growing. the production of emeralds and palm oil, and the textile industry.

In order to boost economic growth and increase exports, the Colombian government has entered into several Free Trade Agreements with nations such as the United States, Canada, South Korea, among others.
